The meeting of the study committee of the Faculty of Transport Engineering of Gediminas Technical University

On october 14, a meeting of the study committee of the Transport Engineering Faculty of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University was held, in which Edmundas Daukantas, president of the "Lineka" association, participated. While discussing training programs at the meeting, it was noticed that they emphasize the processes and current affairs of only one Lithuanian company, AB "Lietuvos geležinkeliai".
Decisions made during the meeting:
it was decided to change the name of the course "Transport Management" to "Supply Chain Management", thereby covering modern transport and logistics issues more broadly;
it was decided to take more into account the current logistics needs and examine them in the training programs.
